Modern art exhibition is held in Hanoi – 33 artists from northern, central, and southern Vietnam participate

Long Bien Art Fair 2021, a contemporary art exhibition hosted by mainly young artists, is currently held on the 2nd floor of the shopping mall, Mipec Trade Center Long Bien (Long Bien 2, Ngoc Lam, Long Bien, Ha Noi) in Long Bien District, Hanoi.
The exhibition started on December 15. This is the second time that it has been held in Hanoi, and its aim is to create a place where visitors can be familiar with contemporary art that is the mixture of three regions of northern, central, and southern Vietnam. The host, Bui Viet Bang says “It has been tough years due to the pandemic but we have this exhibition to let visitors know art is an essence that makes life more enjoyable.” They also have an online display.
There are more than 90 artworks that use various materials such as oil, watercolor, stone, water, wood, and copper are exhibited under the themes of life, nature, human beings, and values. 33 artists include Pham Anh, Dinh Minh Dong, Le Thi Minh Tam, Vu Hoang participate in this exhibition.
Bui expects and comments “We introduce artworks created by young artists who have only a few opportunities to hold an individual exhibition. It will be a good chance for visitors to not only look back their daily life through artworks but also expand their creativity by seeing abstract works.”
Opening hour is 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. until February 15.
