Japanese fintech company, Money Forward opens Hanoi office – Focusing on hiring system engineers

It has been one month since the fintech company, Money Forward which offers financial cloud services opened its Hanoi office (11F TNR Tower, 54A Nguyen Chi Thanh, Lang Thuong, Dong Da, Ha Noi)
The office is the second branch in Vietnam, following the Ho Chi Minh office in 2019. Group company, Money Forward Vietnam opened this office on April 16 to deploy service for the Japanese market. The main business is developing a new service related to back-office tasks, and financial management services for individual users.
The size of the office is 684 square meters. The office also has refresh areas including a billiard table, a big monitor for games, and a cafeteria for employees.
The branch manager, Kazumasa Takenaka says “Most Vietnamese members who work at the Japan office are from Hanoi. They are talented human resources. If they want to come back in the future, the Hanoi office will welcome them.” He also adds “Vietnam is a country that specifically focuses on the IT industry. There are great universities that have top IT faculty in Hanoi. In the future, we would like to hire more system engineers.”
