Hotel, Capella Hanoi opens in Hanoi – Interior design is inspired by opera house

It has been one month since a hotel, Capella Hanoi (11 Le Phung Hieu, Hoan Kiem, Ha Noi) opened in Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi.

The hotel opened on April 22. It is run by Capella Hotel Group (CHG), which is a hotel brand from Singapore. This hotel is their first project in Vietnam. An architect, Bill Bensley who has excellent architectural works such as InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort and JW Marriott Phu Quoc emerald bay resort spa, designed this hotel.

The exterior is a fusion design of French architecture and classic Indochina style and is inspired by the Hanoi opera house.

The building is seven stories and each floor is 1,000 square meters. There are many restaurants such as Vietnamese cuisine, Backstage, European cuisine, The Hudson Rooms, and Japanese grill house, KOKI. Besides, visitors can also access wellness facilities like a spa, gym, and indoor swimming pool.

For guests, 47 rooms are available. There are nine types include; Premier Queen (35 to 41square meters); Junior Suites (59 square meters); and Grand Opera Suite (194 square meters). The fee is 6,500,000 VND (free breakfast is included). Each room has different designs such as custom-made furniture and decorations created by famous artists.

The person in charge says “Our hotel is in a convenient area near the Opera house and old town. We hope our customers to stay and enjoy a memorable moment here.”
