A Mediterranean cafe, The Hideout Garden opens in Dong Da district, Hanoi on June 30. The address is B7-B10 Ngo 43 Pham Ngoc Thach, Dong Da, Ha Noi.
The cafe offers drinks and desserts such as coffee, tea, and smoothies. Nguyen Kim Hue, Nguyen Anh, and Quang Huy are best friends as well as co-owners of this cafe. The name means implicates it is a bit far from the noisy main street.
One of the co-owners, Nguyen Anh who studied in Italy for two years came up with the idea of the opening cafe. Nguyen spent a lot of time seeing European architecture. Nguyen says “The most impressive thing was Mediterranean style buildings. That was the time when I dreamed to open a cafe that looks like a Mediterranean garden in Hanoi.” After Nguyen came back, that dream became a common goal for the three of them.
The size of the cafe is 300 square meters and it can accommodate approximately 200 people. The interior is based on white color. Customers see cactus on the wall. There are outdoor seats and a garden space between the two houses. Every Saturday night, they have acoustic music live session. The cafe plans to set up a pop-up store with other cafes in the future.
The menu includes coffee with coconut milk named Santorini (50,000 VND). Also, they have a tea with pomegranate and lychee called Kotor (55,000 VND). Besides, they offer Corsice (55,000 VND) which is a tea mixed with Oolong tea, longan, and lotus seeds. Arabica coffee topped with whipped cream, Chubbie (55,000 VND) is available as well. For dessert, they have chocolate tiramisu, red velvet cake, and passion fruits mousse cake (50,000 VND).
The opening hour is from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
