MAROU CHOCOLATE opens its second shop in Hanoi

The second store of MAROU CHOCOLATE opened in Tay Ho district, Hanoi on October 30. The address is 64, Xuan Dieu, Quang An, Tay Ho, Ha Noi.

The brand has eight stores in Vietnam. Six are in Ho Chi Minh City and the other two are in Hanoi. This brand found in 2011 and offers French chocolate, cake, macaron, and ice cream. The name is derived from co-founders Samuel Marut and Vincent Mouro.

For products, Vietnamese fresh ingredients and cream and butter are imported from France. Cacao beans for chocolate are roasted using a special machine created in 19 century. The shop does not use any food coloring or preservatives. Their products are “a la minute (freshly made) sweets”. Focusing on sustainability, the manufacturing process and packaging using recycled paper and materials from old packaging.

The menu includes chocolate, chocolate bars (from 45,000 VND), banana chocolate muffins, chocolate coconut brownies, chocolate eclairs (from 60,000 VND), whole cakes, and chocolate tarts (from 240,000 VND). Macaroons (from 150,000 VND per box) and cream puffs are also popular. The shop also sells baked pastries, croissants, drinks, gift tote bags, and cards.

The store’s patissier also holds confectionery-making classes where they teach how to make cream puffs and eclairs, as well as classes where you can learn about cacao beans, production areas, and other tips about chocolate.

The opening hour is from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (Open by 10:00 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
