Vietnamese restaurant, Bun Dau Tuan Troc opens new branch

Inside Bun Dau Tuan Troc

It has been three months since Vietnamese restaurant, Bun Dau Tuan troc opened in Tay Ho district, Hanoi. The opening day was on March 9 and the address is 16/56 Vu Mien, Yen Phu, Tay Ho, Hanoi.   

The restaurant is in Yen Phu in the east Tay Ho area, which is famous for incense. The first restaurant is in Ba Dinh district, and this one in Tay Ho is their second branch. There is a garden inside the restaurant. Customers can see a large star fruit tree that 100 years is old. The restaurant is in the courtyard of the building and has terrace-like table seats surrounding a 100-year-old star fruit tree. 

The main dish is the traditional Vietnamese “Bun dau mam tom” set (60,000 VND). This set includes rice vermicelli, deep-fried tofu, pork, and aromatic herbs. Bun dau mam tom is served in a bamboo colander with sauce. In the old days, bun dau is eaten only with noodles and tofu. However, it got popular to do with pork, liver, and herbs nowadays. The restaurant is known for its fragrant dipping sauce made from fermented shrimp. Moreover, a set with liver, sausage, and vegetables (65,000 VND) and a vegetarian set (30,000 VND) will be also available. 

Opening hour is from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
