Egyptian restaurant, Mawlana Restaurant & Cafe opened in Tay ho, Hanoi on June 28. The address is 6 Ngo 12 Dang Thai Mai, Quang An, Tay Ho, Ha Noi. 

The restaurant is located in Quang An district which is in West lake area. The owner is Ibrahim from Egypt. This owner opened another Egyptian restaurant in the same area. Ibrahim opened this new restaurant with his colleagues to embody better quality of service. 

Ibrahim would like to provide a dining experience that reflects the traditional daily life of Egypt, with interiors adorned with damask-patterned sofas and Arabian decorations. Paintings depicting scenes from Egypt’s traditions add to the ambiance, creating a setting where diverse cultures harmonize. 

There are sofa and table seats available on 2nd and 3rd floor. The 4th-floor terrace features seating arrangements with low tables surrounded by floor cushions, suitable for groups of 2 to 4 people. The seating arrangements can also accommodate buffet-style parties. 

The menu offers a variety of Egyptian dishes, including: Soup Mulukhiya (90,000 VND), Tabouleh Salad (85,000 VND), Assorted Shawarma (Grilled rotating skewers) (149,000 VND and up), Wrap Rolls with Chicken, Beef, and more (70,000 VND and up), Flavorful spiced mixed rice “Biryani” (185,000 VND and up), Oven-cooked dishes with chicken, vegetables, and more (“Tagine”), Egypt’s national dish “Koshari” (110,000 VND). For drinks, they serve; Turkish Coffee (60,000 VND), Arabian Tea with Sage, Chamomile, and other flavors (140,000 VND), and Fresh Juices like Mango, Orange, and more (around 40,000 VND). 

Overall, the restaurant aims to provide a diverse culinary experience that highlights the flavors and traditions of Egypt, making customers feel like they are immersed in the local culture. 

The opening hour is from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. (Until 1:00 p.m. on Mondays)
