Kinapon’s Japanese Bakery & Pastry (51A To Ngoc Van, Quang An, Tay Ho, Ha Noi), opened in Tay Ho district, Hanoi on June 28.

A Japanese couple, Hitoshi Matsuo and his wife Megumi opened this store. They sell bread, curry bread, donuts, and muffins. Megumi said, “We retired the bread shop in Hanoi which we worked for two years, and finally opened our own store.” The size of the shop is 40 square meters and they have 8 tables and 3 counters. The design of the shop is based on yellow color. Customers can see cute original characters in the sign and walls that are drawn by their daughter’s friend who lives in Japan. The name of this shop is derived from their lovely two dogs.

The store offers bread and sweets such as; Whitebread baked without using eggs (60,000VND); Various donuts such as lemon and chocolate flavor (from 35,000 VND to 45,000 VND); Maritozzi with home-made bread, whipped milk, and fruits (50,000 VND); Bask cheesecake with a caramel flavor that baked in high-temperature heat (80,000 VND). Besides, the store offers homemade dressing and salad because Hitoshi has experience as a chef.

Megumi said “We would like to provide organic bread that children can eat without worrying for their health. As we have many lineups such as snacks and gifts, customers can use our shop for various occasions.”

Opening hours: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Closed on Tuesday.
