Café surrounded by greenery, La Farine (So 14, Ngach 105/33 Doan Ke Thien, Mai Dich, Cau Giay, Ha Noi) has opened in Cau Giay district, Hanoi on October 24.

Mr. and Mrs. Nguyen love coffee and decided to open this café in a family-owned space because they wanted to pursue their style. It is two stories building that has a glass wall. Customers can see the green garden from there. The couple designed its interior that is based on black color.

The size of each floor is 250 square meters. They have one private room with soundproof for 20 people on the second floor and can accommodate 100 customers. There are only 3 seats at the counter but tables are both inside and outside. The store name comes from the French nickname of the Nguyen’s children.

The popular menu is Vietnamese Cubes Latte (55,000 VND), that milk is poured into cube-shaped frozen coffee. “It tastes good because the coffee is iced so that it doesn’t thin when melted,” says his wife, Nguyen Linh Huong.

In addition, they have Cherry Sunrise (65,000 VND), that is a mixture of jasmine tea, cherry syrup, peach juice, and lemon; Yoghurt Coffee (60,000 VND), which uses cream, condensed milk, and espresso in yogurt; Chocolate banana bread; Grape banana bread; Coconut banana bread; and homemade cake (35,000-40,000VND for 1 slice) as well.

Linh Huong comments “Since there is a glass wall, it provides a lot of light and well-ventilated. We have prepared a quiet space in a small alley in Hanoi, which is lively. We are looking forward to seeing our customers.”
