Japanese restaurant, EMOI opened in Hoan Kiem, Hanoi on September 6. The address is 63 Ham Long, Hoan Kiem, Ha Noi.  

The restaurant is 700 meters from southern Hoan Kiem Lake. The name of the restaurant means emotional in Japanese. They would like to offer a space where visitors can feel emotional moments.  

The interior of the restaurant is decorated with lanterns, ukiyo-e (woodblock prints), and calligraphy. They also incorporate blue neon lights. The restaurant has box-shaped table seats and counter seats where you can see the grilling of skewers and the preparation of grilled dishes. 

The menu includes appetizer sets (from 155,000 VND),  Wagyu Carpaccio and Salmon Tartare (around 100,000 VND), assorted sashimi (from 195,000 VND), grilled skewers (from 25,000 VND), and dishes like grilled mackerel and ayu (sweetfish) with salt. They also offer nigiri sushi, hand-rolled sushi (around 100,000 VND), chirashi zushi, yakisoba, omurice, and various noodle dishes. 

For drinks, they offer Japanese sake like “Yamakawa” and “Dassai,” shochu, whiskey, plum wine, and cocktails with yuzu. They also host events using projectors and taiko drums.   

The operating hours are from 6:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
